Growing up a biracial, Latinx kid in a town called Jupiter,Florida didn’t always make sense to Alex, despite his overactive imagination. From fantasy role-playing in the nearby woods to hosting Puerto Rican pig roasts with the neighbors from the penis-shaped house, Alex’s life has always felt magical and surreal. He writes science fiction and fantasy stories – often inspired by his Caribbean roots – about characters straddling different worlds, struggling for acceptance.
Alex is currently a Writers’ Assistant on the upcoming Amazon series The Horror of Dolores Roach.
